March 3rd, 2010: The Celtics never had this big of a blowout since December 20th, 2009. Nate Robinson came up big scoring the bench’s high 16 points. Paul Pierce led the C’s with 27 points and was 4-6 from the 3 PT range. The Celtics win it 104-80. Box Score sports.yahoo.com

The Celtics after coming off a loss at home to the Grizzlies they host the Bobcats and their record at home has been flawless against eastern conference teams this season but the Bobcats would give the Celtics their first home loss to the Bobcats who is an eastern conference team. The Celtics started off the first half pretty good but in the erd and entering the 4th the Bobcats made a huge run to cut the lead down to 1 then they started leading by 1 and the Celtics went ice cold and couldn’t make a shot until Paul Pierce and Kg stepped up. Ray Allen had a chance to win with a three pointer but it was off and KG did too but it was also off so they fell to the Bobcats at home 83-81. Now falling behind Chicago for first place in the eastern conference. Garnett was one rebound away from a double double as he scored 12 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. Paul Pierce then scored a game high 18 points along with 3 rebounds, 4 assists and a steal. Dj White led his team with a career high 17 points and Dante Cunningham hit the game winner to beat the Celtics.
